چکیده

The occurrence of Mycobacterium tuberculosis resistance encourages the discovery new antitubercular candidates. Microbes including fungi and bacteria are well known reservoir for isolating antibiotic compounds, among natural product resources. In this review, we report promising compounds from marine-derived entomopathogenic fungi, reported 2000 to 2022. A comprehensive literature search was conducted through scientific websites, Google Scholar, Springer, Pubmed. Eighty-three were reported, where 57 them derived associated with marine ecosystem. Those belong 10 fungal genera. remaining active isolated 7 genera fungi. Gliotoxin, 12,13-dihydroxy-fumitremorgin, helvolic acid as hirsutellones A-D bioactive their remarkable activity, which be investigated further in leads. Deeper investigation on these might candidates future.

Brevianamides with antitubercular potential from a marine-derived isolate of Aspergillus versicolor.

An Aspergillus versicolor isolated from sediment collected from the Bohai Sea, China, yielded the new dimeric diketopiperazine brevianamide S (1), together with three new monomeric cometabolites, brevianamides T (2), U (3), and V (4). Structures were determined by detailed spectroscopic analysis. Brevianamide S exhibited selective antibacterial activity against Bacille Calmette-Guérin (BCG), su...

Molecular docking and druggability studies of terpenoid-derived metabolites from marine sponges as IL-17A inhibitors

In this study, physicochemical properties of 49 compounds extracted from anti-inflammatory sponge species with the aim of ADMET test and Lipinski rule of five have been determined. Fourteen compounds, which showed best results, were subjected to molecular docking studies with IL-17. Among these compounds, Four compounds with low binding energy were obtained. These compounds, namely, frondosins ...

Cyclodepsipeptides and Other O-Containing Heterocyclic Metabolites from Beauveria felina EN-135, a Marine-Derived Entomopathogenic Fungus

Bioassay-guided fractionation of a culture extract of Beauveria felina EN-135, an entomopathogenic fungus isolated from a marine bryozoan, led to the isolation of a new cyclodepsipeptide, iso-isariin D (1); two new O-containing heterocyclic compounds that we have named felinones A and B (2 and 3); and four known cyclodepsipeptides (4-7). The structures were elucidated via spectroscopic analysis...
